Invisible

I am just invisible,
That’s all I have become,
Lost somewhere between
Dawn and insanity,
I have become dust.

Turned to the effervescent
Powder of my soul,
Somewhat deflated,
Reduced to a picture,
In a frame, tilted on the wall.

So here I am, transparent,
I see you all the while,
But I’m a wreck and torn inside,
Abandon ship, I’m sinking;
Down and down I go.

Will you be there to save me?
Rescue me from this descent
Into a madness of deepest sorrow,
But still you are oblivious,
I’m alive, right here, very much opaque.
